WHAT IS ANDROID GO AND ITS USES?

Few days back Google announced Android Go at Google I/O and Google thinks that this will help in improving android experience in lower end phones with less resources.Google said that there are about 2 billion devices running on Android.

What is Android GO?
Android Go is an initiative by Google which can improve the user experience in low end phones. For example,Google recently came up with an app named YouTube Go,which is basically the light weight version of YouTube, which occupies less memory and consumes less data and helps sharing and watching videos using less mobile data .So, now the Android Go is the bigger idea behind YouTube Go.

Under Android GoGoogle optimizes OS to work with limited resources and data management, as the  primary motto which will be brought to quick settings and also Google partnered with the service providers to add a top up option,so that user can conserve data.

Features of Android GO:
•  OS,which works with fewer resources.
•  Consists of apps which are less than 10MB.
•  Data management as primary motto.
•  Better battery and performance.
•  Provides apps which can be used mostly offline.

Android GO is useful for lower end mobiles which is running on 512MB or 1GB RAM,basically low end mobiles with less resources and which are available at low cost.In an era where we could get a mobile with 2GB RAM under 6K,there is no use of Android Go.

Google already has data saver pre enabled in chrome and Gboard also works on the same idea of data saver.Google PlayStore in these mobiles

If at all it comes out,the mobile manufactures make use of it and deliver lower end phones with Android Go through reckless marketing and fool the people and make big profits.Day by day mobiles are getting cheaper which means a phone which costs 7K should cost even less following year. So,mobile manufacturers should take care of this in implementing Android Go.

Android N  has been already out and is available only in some devices, whereas the other providers take a long time in providing the latest updates and some providers stop the support after sometime. In this scenario
Android Go to comeout in market gonna take a lot of time may be not until early 2018.

After all the buzz,Android GO seems like a nice initiative from Google, but they should take care of its hardware associates to bring faster updates to all mobiles by making SDK's available to developers in less time.

So,what do you think about Android GO? Please comment down.
